Indonesian surveyor association fulfills 1st Taiwan Indonesia Surveyor Summit (TISS) event invitation

1st Taiwan-Indonesia Surveyors Summit (TISS)which took place at the Hotel Palais De Chine Taipei on 09-09-2019 was the first event with the theme “A Nation Through Geospatial Infrastructure Smarter with Advanced Technology” between the Association of Surveyor Indonesia (ISI) with the Ministry of the Interior (MOI) and the Chinese Federation Of Surveying & Mapping (CFSM).

Indonesian delegation’s departure on 8 September 2019 led by Virgo Eresta Jaya as Chairman of ISI and board members including Syartoni, Lucky Fakhriadi, Harto Widodo, Benny Butler, Billy Priyo Laksono and Pearl Jamilah while on Geospatial Information Agency was represented by Dr. Sumaryono and Susilo, but it was also attended by Dr. Kosasih Prijatna (ITB), I Made Andi Arsana (UGM), Nana Henky Suharto (MHI), Sofan Prihadi (APSPIG), Bambang Gatot (Maski), Handayani Hapsari Hepi, Ph.D and Nur Cahyadi, Ph.D., of the Institute of Technology ten (ITS) were greeted very kindly by Prof. Peter Shih represent CFSM at Taoyuan Airport, Taipei.

The main event is on 9 September 2019 starting at 09:00 local time with the Opening Ceremony by Chen Chien-Jen (Vice-President of the Republic of China), Dr.Hsu Kuo-Yung (Minister Of The Interior ROC), Sumaryono (BIG) continued with the signing of the MOU between the Chi-Feng Wang (Chairman CFSM) and Virgo Eresta Jaya (Chairman of ISI).

On this occasion an exhibition was also held in parallel survey technology mapping and geospatial information by mapping survey firms in Taiwan.

The next event is a seminar with speakers from Indonesia, represented by Virgo Eresta Jaya with the theme “Indonesian Surveyor Competency Framework”, Dr. Kosasih Prijatna with the theme “Strategy towards national geoid modeling for Indonesia,” Bambang Gatot with the theme of “HD Map”, Sofan Prihadi with the theme “Indonesian Geospatial Industry: Past, Present and Future” and Nana Henky Suharto with the theme “Hydrographic Survey as a strategic role in Offshore Mining, Oil and Gas Exploration, Development Infrastructures as well as Search and Rescue Mission Hydrographic Strategic Planning “.

The speaker from Taiwan are Hsi-Hsien Wu with the theme “A New Era of 3D Mapping: The Development and Vision of National Maps in Taiwan”, Jung-Hong Hong with the theme “National Spatial Data Infrastructure of Taiwan and Roles of Topographic Map Standards” , Cheng-Fang Lo with the theme “The Unmanned System Innovative Applications in Taiwan and HD Maps Production”, Tien-Yin Chou with the theme “Environmental Monitoring and Deep Learning for Smart City implementation” and Phone Lin with the theme “Data Integration and information dissemination for Disaster Management “.
