Dissemination of the ISI Code of Ethics to the Geodesy / Geomatics Engineering / Mapping Survey Study Program

Wednesday, May 8, 2019, the Indonesian Surveyor Association (ISI) held a Code of Conduct Socialization to the Geodesy / Geomatics Engineering Study Program / Mapping Survey at the ISI Head Office in Jakarta. This socialization was attended by Geodesy and Geomatics Engineering Study Program Faculty of Technology and Earth Sciences (FITB) Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Department of Geodetic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Gadjah Mada University (UGM), Geodesy Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University (UNDIP), Engineering Study Program Geomatics of the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Technology of the Sumatra Institute of Technology (ITERA), Study Program of Geodetic Engineering, University of Winaya Mukti (UNWIM), and Survey Program of Mapping and Geographical Information of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).

The purpose of this Code of Conduct Socialization is to convey the implementation of the Surveyor’s professional code of ethics for all ISI members and introduce the Ethics Board which has a code of ethics enforcement function. In addition, this activity is used to discuss the Professional Surveyor roadmap and harmonization of activities, seminars and conferences, between the campus of Geodesy / Geomatics Engineering Study Program / Mapping Survey and ISI. Perhaps that the implementation of this activity can develop the surveyor professions in Indonesia and get support from Universities.
